As always, mind the Three-Fold Law when preforming spells. Never do anyting negative or harmful to another person. It's always best to end spells with the phrase" with harm to none", just to be on the safe side.

Items needed:
1. 1 black mojo bag
2. Rosemary leaves
3. Fennel seeds

This amulet is for protection of a sleeping child. If the child is prone to nightmares, then this works great!! This amulet also wards off evil spirits and demons, which may be causing the nightmares.

Preferably this should be done during the waning cycle of the moon, since you’re banishing hurtful things. But I made mine during the waxing moon and it still worked great. (My need was very strong for the amulet!) You should also put all of your feelings into the following words. Visualize the child sleeping safely and peacefully.

1. Fill the black mojo bag half full of rosemary and say:

"This is for (child’s name) for him/her to keep; to steer away nightmares while he/she sleeps!"

2.Fill the rest of the bag with fennel seeds and say:

"Now I fill you the rest of the way; To keep evil spirits and demons at bay."

3.Now shake the bag, mixing the two herbs and say:

"Now the two herbs, shall become one; So their great powers will let no harm come!"

Now place in the child’s pillowcase, and it is done!!

Take a cord, of the appropriate color, and shape it on the altar into a rune or the design of the object that you need: a car, a house, a pay check.

While you do this, visualize the needed object; raise power and send it forth to bring it to manifestation. So shall it be.

Use this spell when you need some quick cash, to pay off a bill, or buy a gift for someone.

You will need: one green piller candle, a new dollar bill, a piece of constuction paper cut into four even squares, and a pen.

On a night of a new moon, lay all the items on your altar. On each of the green squares, write the amount of money you need. Next, write the amount of money you need on one side of the green candle, and on the other side, write your name. Wrap all four squares in the dollar bill, making a small packet. Set the packet under the candle, light it, and chant:

Money, money, come to me,
As I will So Mote It Be!

Allow the candle to burn for four hours, then snuff it out (Be sure not to blow out the candle as this will affect your spell in a negative way). Repeat the spell every night until the candle has completley burned out. Once the candle burned out, place the dollar bill and one square in your purse or wallet. Place one square under your pillow. Put one square in your desk at work. And place the last square under your front door mat. If you request was reasonable, you should have the money by the next new moon!

Take a handful of earth and gaze into it; now put all of your energy into the problems you are having. Outline in minute detail all of those problems plaguing you. When you are finished, throw the dirt behind you and walk away from it. Do not turn back!

To protect them while away, throw a handful of earth or sand after them as they leave, without their knowledge. This will ensure their safety.

Mix incense and banishing mix into cauldron along with the lit charcoal tablet. Light your candle and visualize the sickness leaving the person or yourself. You can also write the person’s name on a piece of parchment (or regular paper).

Then say:
"I banish all sickness from this person’s body and from this home."
"I cleanse and purify this person, By the Gods So Mote it Be!"

Then burn the paper with the person’s name on it with the candle flame And throw it quickly into the cauldron to burn out. Let the candle and incense burn out by itself.

While sitting in your work area, hold the candle within your hands and project into it the need to have the writers block lifted from you. See yourself finishing your project on time, without snags or obstacles. Ask Brigid, which is the Goddess of creativity, to be with you. Chant the following three times while holding the image of your finished work in your mind:

I call upon the Goddess Brigid
I give to me, creativity

May words and thoughts fill my head
And project from my pencil lead (pencil lead is a metaphor for pen, keyboard, etc..)

May my writing be finished with help from thee
With harm to none, so mote it be!!!

Now, light the candle, place the image of Brigid next to the candle and start writing. Your writers block will be lifted in no time. Don't forget to thank the Goddess Brigid for helping you along. I have used this spell many times, and it always works for me. But please, feel free to adjust it to give it a more personal flare. The more personal a spell, the better it will work.

I wrote this spell when Marlevane and I were fed up with having constant company at our house. (Sounds harsh, but true.) As open Witches, we have people at our house nearly everyday. They come for counseling, healing, spirit communication and the likes. And if you are an open Witch, this probably happens to you too. Even though it’s in our nature to help people and it makes us feel wonderful to be of service, we sometimes need time to ourselves so we can service the community even better. If you do not have time to spend alone or with close family, it is very bad for the soul and your Witchcraft skills can suffer. The following spell will help you get time for yourself and family.

Please note: This spell can be done for yourself or your entire family in mind. If you want to include your family, just change the “I’s” to “us” in the wording and allow everyone to be a part of the spell. As with every spell, it will work much better of you put your own energies into it by re-wording it, using herbs and incenses you’re most comfortable with, etc...

The Spell:
Start by sweeping your house of negativity with your besom or household broom. Once you feel all harmful energies are gone, light the charcoal tab, place it in the censer and then sprinkle the basil on it. Walk though every room with the smoking censer and visualize peace and serenity engulfing your home. As soon as you feel a wave of calm overcome you, immediately go to the main entrance of your home with your household broom (not your magickal besom) in hand. Lean the broom, bristle side up, against the door and say the following chant:

In this place, in this time Gods of Old hear my rhyme!
I don’t want popularity,
I only want simplicity!
Take away their infatuation,
Make them take a small vacation!
I just was peace and time for me, (time for this family)
With harm to none, so mote it be!

Visualize yourself doing all the things you would do while you’re alone. Once you have the visualization sent out into the universe, the spell is done! Now you will be able to have the peace and quiet you so desperately deserve. And, when you’re ready for the spell to be broken and wish to have company at your house again, simply remove the broom from the door and state that you wish for your life to resume as normal….with harm to none of course. I wish you many hours of relaxation!!

End Note: Placing the household broom against the door to ward of visitors is an old folk practice. It has worked in its original state for centuries, but in this modern age people have cars, so it makes it easier for company to “drop by” then before the invention of the automobile. I simply took a time honored tradition and jazzed it up for our modern age.
